Olga & Luis Oak Canyon Nature Center

When I first spoke to Mickey on the phone he mentioned he was a lighting designer for commercials and that quality of work was important to him. He really wanted photos that were both visually striking and also showed the love that they had for each other. I knew from that moment that their engagement session was going to be epic.

Over the next couple of weeks, Mickey and I went back and forth trying to pick the perfect location for their engagement shoot. Mickey & Cheryl wanted something interesting, beautiful and not cliche. After going over a few ideas we settled on two locations for their engagement session. Walt Disney Hall, and the Los Angeles Water & Power building. Two locations that couldn’t have possibly worked out any better and lead to one of my most favorite engagement sessions ever.

I owe a huge thank you Mickey and Cheryl for letting me be a part of your engagement session and I am so excited to be photographing their wedding next march.
